Hi! How are You?

Our sweet girl is growing every day. It is such a blessing to wake up to her big smile every morning! We have adjusted quite well to the daycare routine. I make sure diaper bag and bottles are ready the night before, so I don't have to think about it in the morning. Audrie normally sleeps until I am completely ready. She is so considerate at such a young age! After I am ready, then, I get her ready. I absolutely LOVE her daycare teachers! Audrie gets marked "happy" every day on her "talk" sheet.

She is very alert and loves to play. She already is a social butterfly. She talks a good bit. But, she talks the most to her daddy. Her whole face lights up during their many conversations.

We took our first road trip together to Byhalia, MS for Preston's church dedication. Audrie did wonderfully-slept the whole way.

My mom/Grammy looks like she has her hands full with grand-babies.
A couple of pictures from the breakfast reception. Yummy!

My brother's little family presenting Preston. I commend Amanda for having the family color coordinated-browns/neutrals were the theme. Precious!

Well, my work had me a baby shower reception last week. The original baby shower was planned for September 21st, but Audrie decided her birthday was going to be September 16th. The decorations were adorable and the food was delicious!

We are so excited that Santa gets to stop at our house this year! Here are our attempts for a Christmas card picture.

3 month photo shoot

My goal for this holiday is to finish Audrie's nursery. I know it is pathetic that I am still working on it. In my defense, she was early and then life got busy. I will post pics of the finished product.

Fall 2010 Wrap-up

Rub-a-dub-dub!
Audrie in the tub!

I thought this is such a cute picture that I would start with sharing it. But truthfully, I think ALL of Audrie's pictures are cute. I will admit that it does look like Audrie has a "concerned" look on her face, but she always has that look when I am bathing her. I don't think she has quite figured out the purpose of a bath. I am glad to say that she no longer screams through the entire process. Hopefully, she will soon learn the joy of splashing and playing in the tub.

Great and Grand Visitors

Audrie has had some very special visitors this fall.

Audrie's great-grandmother- Granny (Audrey Cantrell) came all the way from Tremont, MS. For those who have no clue where this is...it is on the outskirts of Tupelo, MS. Audrie is named after Granny. It was a special day for her to get to meet Granny :) Did I mention Granny is 89 years old and is still traveling? No driving (thanks Aunt Jan!) but traveling.
Next, Audrie meet Grandma Chapman (Mary Chapman). She is Audrie's great-great grandmother. It was a joy to watch Grandma Chapman hold her 3rd great-great grandchild.

Finally, Audrie got to meet Grandpaw and Mamaw Adams (Tommy and Gale Adams). They came down from the TN mountains to meet their great-granddaughter. It was all smiles!

Yes, I am sure she will love me for sharing with the world her age ;)

But a birthday is not a birthday without a party!

I have to say...Audrie was the life of the party.
Can't you tell?

Happy Halloween
Karon got her a Halloween outfit. If you look closely, you can see little cute ghost saying, "Boo!"
Audrie was a ladybug. My plan was to carry her to the door with me to hand out candy. But we had NO trick-or-treaters! But, she still looked precious in her outfit!

November 1st, I went back to work. It was very hard getting back in the swing of things. I am very blessed that my mom came and lived with us for 3 weeks to help out. Oh man, it helped out so much!

COUSINS!
We took a trip to Byhalia, MS to visit Luke, Amanda, Kate, and Preston. All the cousins happened to be bugs this year, so Amanda, my SIL, and I decided it would be a fabulous photo op. Well, Kate was not too happy about the picture. This is the best photo I got. I hope my brother got a better one.
Preston and Audrie enjoyed the chillin together while Luke and I snapped the photos.

Meet Preston
Preston Jeffery Cantrell is the newest addition to the family! He is so easy going and precious! I got lots of hugs and snuggles my sweet nephew!

2 Month Photo Shoot
I want to give credit to Amanda for Audrie's adorable pumpkin hat!

She is a growing girl! Audrie is now smiling on purpose and is very alert. She is the best listener. Last night was her first night to sleep the whole night in HER crib. VICTORY!

Happy Fall Y'all!

2month Stats

Audrie had her 2 month check up, so here are her stats:
9.5 pounds - 50th percentile
23.75 inches long - 90th percentile ( I can promise she does not get her height from me!)
19.75 head circumference - 40th percentile

Audrie got THREE shots! She took them like a champ! (me...not so much)
We are now daycare ready.

I promise to catch up the blog this week. I am on Thanksgiving Break!

One Month

Yes, it is hard to believe that our little one is a month old. (especially considering the fact that she is only "suppose" to be one week old) I know I am a few days late, but life is busy. I did take the pictures on the actual one month mark-October 16th. Her daddy had picked out a cute little onesie for the photo shoot. It was yellow with a cute little duck. Well, I guess Audrie did not want to wear it, because she pooped through her diaper onto it. Needless to say, I had to change her..immediately. So, she ended up in poka-dots:)

I think Audrie is camera shy. Everytime I try to take pictures...she wails! It is like she can smell
the camera or something. I have to sneak in my pictures. I guess she gets that from me...I hate being in pictures.

Going to Church
Last Sunday, we finally got to go to church as a family.
Audrie always loved church when she was in the womb, so I was assured she would like it. Well, I had fed her right before we left...thinking she would sleep through it. We get there and Audrie apparently had some gas issues. She grunted and farted up a storm, so Michael took her out. I found them in the car after the services. At least she was dressed cute!

Two Peas in a Pod

Yes, Audrie LOVES her daddy. She will be deep sleeping and hear her daddy's voice and wake up. She looks straight at him when he talks to her. It is like she is hanging on every word. But, I know she already has Michael wrapped around her tiny finger. It is amazing to watch Michael with her. I LOVE IT. Here are some pictures to prove the two peas in a pod:
